At Pain Care Specialists of Florida we understand and comply with the insurance process in order to facilitate claim settlement in a cost effective manner.

Instructions before procedure:

You must have somebody with you to drive you home.
Take your blood pressure, heart and breathing medications as usual with a sip of   water.
Do not take your blood sugar medication until after eating post-procedure
  if your procedure is scheduled in the A.M.
Nothing to eat or drink for six (6) hours before procedure. Note for diabetics: if you   feel your blood sugar is low you may drink a clear juice (apple, cranberry)as needed.

Hold the following medications before procedure:

Coumadin: hold for five (5) days
Aspirin and Plavix: hold for seven (7) days
(Motrin, Advil, Ibuprofen, Aleve, Naprosyn, etc.): hold for two (2) days
Bring your insurance card
